The UADPhilEcon is aimed at students who already have an undergraduate degree or Masters level degree, and want to do graduate studies aiming at a Doctorate degree in economic science.

The UADPhil emphasizes economic theory and its applications, and considers economics as a social science, hence includes courses which define it as such, while at the same time it considers essential the deep understanding of mathematics and quantitative methods.
